General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Modewerk Berlin:

 1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between the tailoring business [Company Name] and its customers. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are not recognised unless the tailoring business expressly agrees to them.

 2. Conclusion of Contract

A contract is concluded when the tailoring business accepts a customer's order. This can be done in writing, by email, or through verbal confirmation.

 3. Services

The tailoring business creates garments according to the individual measurements and preferences of the customer. Changes or adjustments after the order has been placed are only possible by arrangement and may incur additional costs.

 4. Prices and Payment

All prices are agreed upon with the customer in advance and include the statutory value-added tax, where applicable. Payment is due in full before collection or delivery of the finished product. The product will only be delivered after complete payment.

 5. Fittings and Acceptance

The customer is obliged to attend agreed-upon fittings. If the customer requests changes after the final fitting, these may incur additional costs.

 6. Delivery Time and Collection

The delivery time will be agreed upon individually with the customer. Delays due to material delivery problems or unforeseen events do not entitle the customer to withdraw from the contract.

 7. Liability and Warranty

The tailoring business is not liable for minor deviations in colour and material structure that are due to the production process. Defects must be reported in writing within 7 days of collection or delivery.

Should an error occur on the part of the tailoring business, it will be corrected free of charge. If the customer provides incorrect measurements or incorrect information, they are responsible and will bear any additional costs that may arise.

 8. Returns and Cancellation

As the goods are custom-made, cancellation or return is excluded. Adjustments can be made by arrangement.

9. Data Protection

All personal data of the customer will be treated confidentially and used only for the processing of the order.

 10. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should a provision of these GTC be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

11. Care Instructions and Disclaimer

The garments produced are exclusively suitable for gentle hand washing, unless expressly agreed otherwise. This means: Washing should be done in lukewarm water (max. 30°C) with mild detergent without bleach or aggressive chemicals. The textiles must not be soaked, rubbed, wrung out or machine washed. Instead, they should be moved gently in the water, then gently squeezed out and dried on a hanger or lying on a towel – without direct sunlight or heat sources such as radiators or dryers.

The tailoring business accepts no liability for damage caused by improper care. The customer is obliged to observe the care instructions in order to maintain the quality and longevity of the products.
